Vic Lee is an award winning artist, author of three books, keynote speaker, and stand up comedian to boot. As well as a wordsmith, mapmaker and storyteller.
People often ask, ‘How long did that take to paint?’
I always say the same thing - 50 years. I have always been an artist, as a child, maybe more a playful one, but an artist none the less. Though my parents might beg to differ as they cleaned up the mess I made. Little has changed, but I clean up my own mess now.
I have worked professionally as an artist for 15 years now. Having been commissioned to create elaborate pen drawn murals for the World’s biggest brands and corporations. I have worked on collaborations as an invited artist for the likes of The Famous Grouse, Nike, McLarens and Brompton Bicycles and have a dedicated range in The Tate. I light heartedly say I have a permanent exhibition there, even if its in the shop.)

My art has taken me around the World and I have been to some incredible places and experienced things I would have only dreamed of when I started. I have met the most diverse, unique and friendliest people along the way and all of this has led me to my own collections.
I have always had a love of architecture, where and how we live. My first collection, Londonereas, was a series of London centric limited edition prints of local places we live. This vast collection of works has since sold out with collectors across the planet.
Continuing this theme through my ‘Sanctuary’ series of places we live, maybe in an imaginative way, alongside my ‘Flural’ collection. Natures finest. And introducing my signature style of black and white storytelling with my English style elaborations in wordsmithery. ‘Typestyles’.
These collections are who I am, my calm, passion, history and persona.
I hope you enjoy them!
